    DAY 1

    Arrival at Entebbe International Airport meet your guide who will then transfer you to your hotel for an overnight. Based on your time of arrival, you could choose to go for an optional 2 hours sunset cruise on Lake Victoria towards the equator line and some local islands. Enjoy the view of the fishermen casting their nets and enjoy the snacks and drinks provided on board.


    DAY 2

    Today you will be picked up from your accommodation by your driver guide and proceed to the next highlight of your memorable tour in Uganda, going on to the beautiful north-western Uganda to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is one of Ugandas largest conservation areas and boast of 76 mammal species and 451 bird species that thrive in the open savannah and tropical forests. Enroute visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to 22 southern white rhinos.

    Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is a project under Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority to re-introduce Rhinos back to the wild following their extinction in 1980’s due to uncontrolled poaching. After lunch continue to Murchison Falls and proceed to your Lodge.


    DAY 3

    After breakfast, you will have a scheduled morning delta boat ride on the Albert Nile where you will have chance to search for the elusive shoebill stork, have a bush breakfast and then proceed for a game drive. This is a beautiful drive across savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grassland down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. Drive in the open African savanna in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest. Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and enjoy spotting various Bird species.

    In the afternoon, go for a boat ride up the Nile to the bottom of Murchison falls. Enjoy these spectacular falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meter gap. Thereafter, hike to the top of the falls.


    DAY 4

    We will depart Murchison Falls this morning and drive to Kibale National Park. Along the way you will pass by tea plantations. Kibale Forest is a diverse forest that boasts of 13 species of primates such as the Red colobus, grey checked mangabey and Red tailed monkeys, Rare L’Hoest monkey as well as over 335 bird species with some rare and endemic to the Albertine region and varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation.


    DAY 5

    Have an early morning breakfast then go for Chimpanzee tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are closest to human beings and are great to watch being playful both on ground and in the trees. Return to the lodge for lunch.

    In the afternoon, go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland where you will have a chance to see different primates and bird species especially the Great Blue turaco popular in this area while getting to know the communities nearby and their projects


    DAY 6

    After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, along the way drive by the kasenda crater lakes, proceed to the park is one of Uganda’s most popular and most scenic game drives with a wide variety of wild game and over 600 bird species incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savanna to wetlands and lowland forest. In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel.


    DAY 7

    Enjoy an early morning Game drive in the Kasenyi area of the park, relax at the lodge, in the evening visit the Katwe salt pan and the crater lakes.


    DAY 8

    Today you will drive to Bwindi Forest via Ishasha which is the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National park. This sector is notably known for its resident tree climbing Lions that are an exceptional attraction in the park. You will have a game drive in search of tree climbing Lions. Thereafter proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is a UNESCO Natural world Heritage site that is home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

    This fascinating mountain forest hosts of animals and spectacular birds including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. Visit to the gorilla clinic in buhoma. You shall go to bed earlier this evening keeping in mind that you are sleeping in the rainforest since you should be well rested for thrilling experience of gorilla tracking the next day.


    DAY 9

    After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. The trekking can entail climbing, hiking but once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe the family at close proximity for an hour.


    DAY 10

    Transfer by road to Lake Mburo National Park. The Park forms a mosaic-like habitat with rocks, dry slopes, open and wooded savannas, forests, and swamps increases. This diversity of habitats has the diversity of bird life with 313 bird species recorded in the park, including flame head Barbet, Long-tailed Zitting Cisticola (Tabora), African Bins Rail, Collared Barbet, binding Bush singer among others. You will have a game drive as you enter the park such as Topis, impalas giraffes, elands waterbucks , buffalos and zebras.


    DAY 11

    You will get up early morning for a guided nature walk and game drive return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon you will proceed to Kampala crossing the equator and later drive to Entebbe International Airport connect with your onward flight back home.
